Features
The B-38030 has been designed with ease of use in mind. There is just one opening for users to place their hands. It can be set up so that the dryer comes on instantly, or with a 3 second delay to coax users into using the paper towels more frequently. It also features Bobrick’s TowelMate™ functionality, which ensures that just one paper towel is released at a time and avoids tears. This saves you cost in wasted paper towels, and keeps your washroom tidy from scraps of waste paper. The hand dryer also has nozzles angled in such a way as to avoid blowing air into the waste bin, preventing a mess being created.
It has also designed to make maintenance as simple as possible. The cabinet doors come with a cable door-swing limiter stopping it from opening too far and damaging a wall or other bathroom products. The waste receptacle is removable and the paper towel dispenser has a system to hold towels while servicing. To further simplify upkeep, all locks are keyed alike.
Where to use it
Despite the sleek design, it is built with ‘extreme’ traffic levels in mind: upwards of 1000+ uses a day. It has a paper towel capacity of 450 C-fold or 600 multifold paper towels and the waste bin capacity is 13.7 litres.
The B-38030 has been designed so that, if mounted in the correct place, is compliant with Doc M requirements. It also complies with ROHS EU Directive as when it was produced certain hazardous substances were not used.
As it only extrudes a small amount from the wall (more on size below) it is a very discreet unit. Its design lends to most environments, but as mentioned at the top of the article, it is particularly at home in high-end restaurants and leisure / sport facilities. But, due to its robustness, security and ease of maintenance it is equally at home in something like a stadium or music venue. It really can serve anywhere.
Size
Depending on the model, it has a height of 1412/1448 mm and a width of 362/396 mm. As it is an integrated unit so it mounts into the wall, and requires a rough wall opening of 1412 (H) x 362 (W) x 100 (D) mm.
Technical specs
The built-in hand dryer has a brushed motor, which has a speed of 8000rpm and a dry time of 15-17 seconds. The expected motor life is 17,000 hours, electrical supply frequency of 50 / 60 Hz, and electrical supply voltage of 208 - 240V and is estimated to use 2.50 Wh of energy per dry.
