Description
The SureFlo® touchless soap dispenser with 1 litre capacity has a vandal-proof 180º rotable lid to quickly refill from top, a portion control knob to adjust the dispense amount (from 0.4 to 3ml), a flush button for periodical maintenance and compatibility with universal bulk liquid soaps (from 100 to 19,000cP) that can be a more affordable solution than refill cartridges in the long term. The electrical components are made of water resistant materials. Furthermore, the different types of plastic in the rest of the parts will resist corrosion. To extend the service life of this item, use chloride-free and pH-neutral liquid soaps (never alcohol-based or iodine-based).
The sensor reacts in approximately one second after the user places their hand under the activation lens located inside the 170mm spout. LED indicators will show unit activation (green) and low battery life (red).
This system uses four type-D cell batteries that will last for 200,000 cycles or 2 years. These supplies are not furnished in the package. The mounting hardware and cable allow to mount the battery pack on the back or side wall for ease of access to replace batteries. There is an optional 6V A/C adapter (Part No. 3974-55 for non-U.S. compatible plugs).
As you can read in the upkeep tips, the manufacturer advises to flush the system with water every 3 to 6 months. Concerning the polished chrome plated finish, please, wash with soapy water and soft cloths regularly.
The mounting requirements in the countertop are:
- 35mm diameter mounting hole.
- Up to 50mm thick countertops.
- Clearance for the soap bottle and bottom housing: minimum 455mm vertical and 125mm horizontal.
- Recommended location for the dispenser is 150-205mm from back wall and 64-75mm from the sink rim to the mounting hole.
