The Urban People® series is made in Italy by Ponte Giulio, a experienced supplier committed to inclusivity and avant-guard design. The pack IFSPGM141 consists of four 600mm straight grab rails, one 850mm drop-down bar, one removable toilet paper holder and one padded toilet backrest. All plastic coated finishes of this product have a colour finish. These items, excluding the pad, can have any of other 14 uniform colours, please just contact us to specify the desired finish (price and lead time will be the same). As UK regulations recommend, some users need enough contract between bathroom fittings and walls.
These high-end grab bars are warm to touch, non-slip, biocompatible, electrostatic charge free and with high skin tolerability. The BioCote® Silver Ion Technology is an active antibacterial additive that inhibits up to 99.99% of microbes and mould, as well as protects the surfaces from odours, degradation and staining.
The nylon toilet paper hook can be fitted at the most convenient position at vinyl folding rails with a bar diameter from 31mm to 35mm. To make sure the roll stays in place, it comes equipped with a brake.
Technical description
All the grab rails have a Ø 33mm bar diameter and the fold-up rail includes a stepless braking system. If a proper wall installation had taken place, TUV certifies that the layout and materials resist up to 150 Kg. The stainless steel flange accommodates a concealing seal to grant electrical insulation (<6000V). Also, the components are flame proof, fire resistant and with low flammability (UL94).
For an added piece of mind, the vinyl coatings and inner steel are only composed of harmless and eco-friendly metals. Although the product is very long-lasting, it could be recycled at the end of its use life.
Note that the flanges come already fitted and the necessary screws are as well furnished in order to speed up installation. On the other hand, the plastic finishes are easy to clean. So that the products can last for years, we encourage you to use non-abrasive substances when cleaning.
