The HD3 is a quiet and very robust hand dryer with a high ingress protection level making it suitable for wetter environments like shower/changing rooms (please refer to installation guidelines relating to fitting locations).
The dryer relies more on evaporation than airspeed and consequently is not a fast dryer but its low noise, high level of ingress protection and solid construction make it a logical choice for some locations which require these characteristics.
Why do we offer the HD3 hand dryer?
We offer the HD3 hand dryer even though it is not particularly energy efficient as many sites require replacements to match with the rest of their products. On the positive side it is British manufactured, stands up to abuse and looks good. On the negative side it takes 30-45 seconds to dry hands, uses more energy than is necessary and has been hugely surpassed by superior eco hand dryers.
The HD3 hand dryer does still appear on specifications under various guises and is ideal for unattended washrooms as it is literally bomb proof!
