Which BlueDry hand dryer should I choose?
In order of price the following models are available:
BlueDry Junior – These dryers are at the very cheapest end of the market. We have decided not to offer it as it has high energy consumption and takes a long time to dry so creates a false economy of low upfront costs but high running costs and ineffective drying which is ultimately unhygienic.
Bluedry Storm – This dryer has a traditional design, allowing hand and face drying via the rotating nozzle. It is a little faster than most traditional dryers as the motor runs about 30% quicker but still has high energy consumption as it relies on heat evaporation rather than airspeed to get the job done. We would only really recommend this style for occasion use locations like football changing rooms, ski resorts or in out buildings where hands really need warming up.
BlueDry Mini-Jet – This is a really decent high-speed, energy-efficient, competitively priced hand dryer with ability to turn heat on or off to save energy or add comfort to the drying experience in colder conditions. It’s solid and has an anti-bacterial filter. Great for most low traffic locations (up to 100 uses) as the noise level is ok too.
BlueDry Eco Dry – The most popular in the range, there are tons on this style of product on the market built by lots of Chinese manufacturers, marketed under different brands, all are super-fast. Some are well-built, others have dubious quality. The BlueDry brand gives extra assurance that it is a dependable version. This is the best BlueDry option if you are looking for very fast dry times (under 15 seconds) and are not too concerned about the noise level.
BlueDry Jet Blade – A budget ‘hands in’ option. This style offers fast dry times with reduced noise plus extra features like HEPA filtered air, and UV-C protection of the filter for added hygiene. It also has the advantage of keeping walls and floors dry.
BlueDry Blade Runner – A less common style of dryer designed to catch drips of water and absorb them onto a ceramic plate. In a low traffic location, the ceramic plate will dry out and therefore save time emptying water trays. That’s the main advantage, the performance is otherwise a bit average. It’s a cool design though and some customers like it for its novel design.
