B-715E Elan Hand Dryer
The Bobrick B-715E Elan™ hand dryer is a low-noise hand dryer with a contemporary design. This is a contactless hand dryer triggered by a sensor, which helps improve hygiene levels in your washroom. The B-715E Hand Dryer has a heating element to help lower the hand drying speed, which in the long term saves money due to reduced operation, especially when compared with the cost of paper towels. This unit is suitable for a range of commercial environments.
Best for – a good allrounder, but the slightly longer drying time means is it suited for lower-traffic environments.
B-7120 / B-7128 TrimLine Hand Dryer
The B-7120 / B-7128 is a slim hand dryer, protruding just 100mm from the wall, making it a very discreet unit, suitable for minimal environments. Despite this slim stature, it boasts a power rating of 1.7Kw which creates an air volume of 130 m³/hr and an air velocity of 28m/s, bringing dry times of around 17 seconds.
Available in brushed satin stainless steel or white finish, it is a tough, vandal resistant unit that has a 10-year guarantee. While it is a powerful hand dryer, there are quicker dry times available, so this hand dryer would be suitable for an office environment, where design is as important as functionality.
Best for – high traffic environments where space is minimal.
B-38030 Recessed 3 in 1 Hand Dryer Combination Unit
The B-38030 is part of the TrimLineSeries™ which means that has a contemporary design, ideal for washrooms in high-end restaurants or offices. It is a combination unit, featuring a warm-air hand dryer, a paper-towel dispenser and waste bin. The automated towel dispenser has TowelMate™ to reduce paper waste, and you have the option of two operation modes, so that you can promote either the hand dryer or the towel dispenser first.
Despite this unit’s complexity, it is very simple for users as it just has one opening, making it very intuitive to use. The nozzles are also pointing away from the trash bin portion to avoid making a mess.
But it is not just designed with functionality in mind, it was also designed for ease of maintenance. The waste receptacle is removable and the paper towel dispenser has a system to hold towels while servicing. To further simplify upkeep, all locks are keyed alike. Depending on where the unit is mounted, it is also Doc M compliant.
Best for – a high traffic environment where design and accessibility are paramount such as gyms and music venues.
B-7179 FINO Surface-Mounted Automatic Hand Dryer
Part of the Fino collection, this hand dryer has a strong design focus so it adds to the feel of a commercial washroom, rather than detract from it. Even with this focus on design, the B-7179 has a dry time of 10-12 seconds and recommended daily use of 300+, making it suitable for high traffic environments.
This dryer has a slim depth of 100mm, but has a brushless motor (learn more about brushed vs brushless motors here) for efficient, maintenance free operation.
Best for – an office environment where aesthetics is important.
B-7180 / B-7188 TerraDry® Hand Dryer
Perfect for professional environments, the B-7180 / B-7188 is a small unit with a depth of just 100mm and a running volume of 70db(A), making it a very subtle hand dryer. Despite this, thanks to its a double-inlet forward curved impeller, providing air volume of 125 m³/hr and an air velocity of 27m/s it has a dry time of just 17 seconds.
Its aluminium body means that it might not be suitable for very high-traffic, vandal potential environments. But thanks to its sleek size, it would work perfectly in smaller washrooms where space is paramount but performance cannot be compromised. Added to this, it has a 10-year limited guarantee, which means you can fit and forget this hand dryer.
Best for – an environment where noise needs to be controlled, such as schools and bathrooms next to meeting rooms.
B-7125 InstaDry Jet Hand Dryer
With a very small footprint (it is less than 10cm deep), and a recommended daily use of 1000 hand dries, the B-7125 InstaDry is a workhorse of a hand dryer. It is made of stainless steel, and the screws of the concealed mounted bracket are vandal resistant, lending to its commercial leaning.
The brushed motor helps create air speed of 111.8mph, which in turn creates a drying time of 16-20 seconds.
Best for – a high traffic environment where space is restricted, but security is key, such as a public restroom.
B-815969 Recessed Dryer, Dispenser and Bin Unit
This 3 in 1 unit is designed to be as efficient and vandal-proof as possible. The hand drying solutions are the touchless, electronic hand dryer unit along with the paper towel dispenser, which can hold up to 850 sheets.
Along with these two, it has a built in 24 litre-bin, which rounds out its 3 functionalities. The cabinet is welded and made from type 304 stainless steel; whilst the door comes with a swing limiter to avoid harming surrounding items and two tumbler locks for security.
Designed with ease of use and minimal fuss in mind, rounded towel tray will dispense the hand towels with no tearing thanks to its hemmed opening and the leak-proof plastic receptacle can be removed for easy servicing.
Best for – a high traffic environment where security and ease of use is key such as stadiums and city center public restrooms.
B-770 / B-778 DuraDry® High-Speed Hand Dryer
Designed for extreme use (1000+ uses a day) this high-speed dryer has an air speed of 100mph and a drying time of 16-20 seconds. Despite this, the noise output is only 72dB(A). Compared with paper towels, where £1 will get you 143 dries, this hand dryer will get 857.
The outer shell is made from aluminium and it comes in either white or polished silver.
Best for – publicly used toilets, where noise is still a consideration such as supermarkets and department stores.
