The Prestige PRST03 WRAS Approved Curved Sensor Tap, is the epitome of efficiency and elegance for your washroom. Crafted from durable brass with a sleek chrome plated finish, it boasts very responsive operation. There are 2 power options to choose from; powered by 4 AA Alkaline batteries only or receive your tap with the option to use either batteries or included mains transformer. Experience a swift response with opening under 1 second and closing under 1.5 seconds, delivering a flow rate of 5.7 liters per minute at 3 bar pressure.

Enjoy flexibility with cold or premixed water via the Thermostatic Mixer, ensuring safety with a maximum water temperature of 75°C. With WRAS approval and safety timeout protection, it's a perfect blend of style and functionality.

Being WRAS approved it demonstrates compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws which require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard.

Need help choosing which power option?

1. Battery Only

Benefits:

• No need for a nearby power outlet: Great for areas without access to electrical outlets, such as outdoor settings or older bathrooms.
• Easier installation: No wiring required, making it quicker and less expensive to install.
• Portability: Can be moved or reinstalled in a different location without worrying about power supply.
• No risk of power outages affecting operation: It continues to function even if there’s a power cut.

Considerations:

• You’ll need to replace the batteries periodically (depending on usage), which adds some maintenance.

2. Battery or Mains Transformer

Benefits:

• More flexible: You can switch between battery power and mains power as needed.
• Lower maintenance: When connected to mains power, you won’t have to worry about replacing batteries.
• Backup power: If there’s a power outage, you can switch to battery power and keep it functional.
• Cost-effective in the long term: Mains power can be cheaper than continuously replacing batteries.

Considerations:

• Requires a nearby power source for the mains transformer.
• Installation can be more complex if wiring is needed.
